Mac OS and iOS are not perfect, as nothing is, but everything is simpler, ipad2 coversmany things are smarter, some things are faster, pains in the asses are reduced by 90% compared to old assembled pcs with windows xp i used to have, that's really been worth it. If you like to try the app on your iPad you can find this template under the name "M!! Remote for Dolphin Emulator", the server side application is available for Windows too.Īny hint or suggestion is highly appreciated, thanks! It would be nice to be able to use it to play, i'd like to create a GCPad template too, maybe there's just something wrong i did or some configuration trick. Tried many different values in wiimote configuration panel but got no success. I tried playing but got no success, keys from keyboard works fine, keys from iPad does not work, while on every other application it works fine. If i press one of the keys on the iPad i get the sound, a beep is played but no key is highlighed. Then i tried it on Dolphin and got a bad surprise, setting keys in Dolphin is working fine, if i press, let's say, the "1" key on the keyboard Dolphin recognizes it, highlights the key in the buttons panel under wiimote configuration and a beep is played. Now, it looked all ok, i assigned all the keys and tried it in Text (Mac notepad) and Openoffice, it worked all fine. The nicest app i found is this one: (it's cheap but not free, it costed €0,79 on AppStore), it's nice because it allows to completely define a keyboard layout with graphics you like and buttons placed where you like as big or little as you like so i got some fun designing a simple wiimote interface you can see here:Īnd here is a picture of how it looks on my ipad: #App for mac that is a blue tooth keyboard emulator install#Since i've got an iPad i've tried to look around if there is any way to use it as a remote for Dolphin i've found a few apps which emulates a keyboard on iPad and send the signal to a Mac or PC, you just have to install the app on ipad and a small server side app on your Mac / PC. I have no wiimote or other original controllers for Wii/Gamecube at the moment and i've been using the keyboard to play on Dolphin. I've tried to look around for other threads on this matter and did not find one. Hi all, i'm new here but i'm an old fan of that great piece of software that is Dolphin.
